THE FILM DOPES 50th REVIEW!- CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR

THE FILM DOPES ARE AT IT AGAIN!!!! FOR THE 50th TIME!!! Alex Camargo, Stuntman Jess, The Renaissance Man and Ready Eddy of The Pixel Reel review their 50th Film, and it’s going to be special! The film to receive such an honor is Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo ( Captain America: The Winter Soldier), and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chadwick Boseman and Elizabeth Olsen among others.

Continuing the plots of both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Civil War deals with the aftermath of a world who decides it’s had enough of super powered beings running around unchecked,  free of any  restrictions. Noticing how his previous actions in past adventures have caused unnecessary collateral damage, Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man sides with authorities and supports the need for superhero control in order to keep the world safe. However, fellow Avengers member, Steve Rodgers a.k.a. Captain America, questions the ramifications of  government regulation and use of any metahumans or aliens as possible assets or weapons to be utilized by those in power for their particular agendas, instead of fighting to defend all mankind from evil threats, while standing up for the greater good. As the friendship between the two heroes falls apart, other members of the Avengers as well as new additions to the Marvel cinematic roster choose sides and battle it out in what it’s shaping up to be the biggest Marvel film event yet.

THE FILM DOPES REVIEW! – STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON

The Film Dopes are at it again as Alex Camargo and Stuntmanjess review ”Straight Outta Compton” This film stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, And Paul Giamatti. This film was directed by F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job, Law Abiding Citizen) This film revolves around the uprising of the notorious rap group known as N.W.A.

N.W.A. Was one of the first groups to revolutionize the art of hip hop and rap in a unique and raw fashion, they weren’t scared to express the way they felt about society, the law, and our government through their powerful and motivational lyrics. This motion picture explores the way they used their words and attitude as a reflection of their everyday life… music was their biggest weapon. This story centers and reflects on all the obstacles these individuals had to go through in order to become the legends that they are today.
